Arabella

Arabella and her mother came to Texas so that I could photograph her senior images. She is a talented and bright girl who has already walked through fire here on earth. She inspired me with her strength; being a transplant recipient isn’t easy. Everything leading up to a transplant is difficult, and everything after a transplant is difficult as well.

When I look into her eyes, I can feel all she has been through and continues to face. She has a strength inside her that I don’t even think she fully understands. I went back to these three images many times when I was faced with hard things, and I was reminded that I, too, could make it if I just kept going. #donatelife
